The Modbury Hospital has been providing vital health care to its local community since it was established in 1973. As part of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network the hospital provides emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services including rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care to more than 400,000 residents of Adelaide’s north and north-eastern community.
Modbury Hospital has undergone many developments over the years and is currently undergoing a $96 million redevelopment. The redevelopment will ease pressure on our emergency departments, provide access to a higher level of care closer to home, growing and strengthening surgical services, providing more privacy and a home-like environment for palliative care patients, upgrading facilities and enhancing the experience for patients, visitors and staff.
