Genetic Pathology Services at Flinders Medical Centre

The SA Pathology Department of Molecular Pathology provides diagnostic and predictive testing in the genetics of adult disease such as Huntington’s disease, familial breast cancer, Parkinson's disease, glaucoma, and a number of retinal disorders. 

A specimen collection area for SA Pathology is located on level 2 of Flinders Medical Centre (in the consulting clinic area adjacent the Volunteer coffee bar).

Department staff are actively involved in education, training and research programs.
