These fees are current from 1 July 2021.

Private hospitals

  • Licence application fee - $10,000
  • Fee for grant of licence - $10,000
  • Variation of licence / conditions of licence fee - $2,500
  • Annual licence fee (1 to 25 beds)- $2,750
  • Annual licence fee (26 to 50 beds) - $3,500
  • Annual licence fee (51 to 100 beds) - $5,000
  • Annual licence fee (101 to 150 beds) - $6,500
  • Annual licence fee (151 to 200 beds) - $8,000
  • Annual licence fee (greater than 200 beds) - $11,000
  • Application fee for transfer of licence - $2,500
  • Application for alteration / extension of licenced premises - $3,500
  • Application to change services provided - $2,500
  • Additional inspection of premises fee - $2,500

Private day procedure centres

  • Licence application fee - $5,000
  • Fee for grant of licence - $5,000
  • Variation of licence / conditions of licence fee - $1,500
  • Annual licence fee - $1,500
  • Application fee for transfer of licence - $1,500
  • Application for alteration / extension of licenced premises - $3,500
  • Application to change services provided -  $1,500
  • Additional inspection of premises fee -  $1,500
