The LCLHN Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (PDF 1.5MB) is part of the broader South Australian Government’s goal to improve the lives of people living with disability and their carers, and moves us closer to a fully inclusive society in the Limestone Coast. Our LCLHN Plan outlines our commitments to identify and meet the health needs of people with disability and their carers, and describes what LCLHN will do to ensure that people living with disability and their carers have the same opportunities as others to access and be included in health services.
The LCLHN’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) (PDF 4.1MB) focuses on developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, engaging our staff and stakeholders in reconciliation, developing and piloting innovative strategies to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our RAP was developed by the LCLHN Reconciliation Working Group, with representation from across the LCLHN as well as two community representatives including the CEO of our local Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, Pangula Mannamurna. It was approved by Reconciliation Australia in May 2021 and first published during National Reconciliation Week 2021.
