Health Advisory Councils provide advice to their local Health Services and to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing.
A major role of the Whyalla Hospital Health Services Health Advisory Council (HAC) is to relay ideas and views from the community to the local Health Service.

The Whyalla Health Advisory Council meetings are held bi-monthly on the last Thursday of the month at 5pm in the Ground Floor Old Boardroom at Whyalla Hospital.

All community members are welcome!
You will be able to ask questions and meet with your local health advisory members, who advocate for new and improved health services on behalf of your local community. Angela McLachlan, Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery will also be presenting about the Voluntary Assisted Dying process.
There are also vacancies within the Whyalla Hospital and Health Services Health Advisory Council including medical, resident and staff representatives. Residents of Whyalla are invited to apply for these vacancies.
