The Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital has birthing facilities for low-risk births. A shared care arrangement with GPs and community midwives assists women with care and treatment before, during and after childbirth.

Chemotherapy services

The Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital has a chemotherapy unit with trained and accredited Registered Nurses to provide chemotherapy treatment and other cancer services, including infusions.

Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Chemotherapy Unit Services include:

  • coordination of your cancer care which can help you navigate the health system.
  • low risk chemotherapy treatment including oral chemotherapy and intravenous infusion treatments in the chemotherapy unit or via slow release pumps.
  • access to Digital Telehealth Network equipment so you can have follow-up appointments with your oncologist reducing the need to travel.
  • non-chemotherapy infusion centre services including pump disconnects, PICC and port flushes.

Radiology services are provided by SA Medical Imaging and are offered to the public 5 days per week.

Entry to medical imaging (radiology) is via the Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital emergency entrance, the medical imaging department is to your right.

Pathology services

SA Pathology services are offered to the public 6 days per week.

Located within the Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. On-site parking is available in front of the SA Pathology collection centre

Community health services

The Country Health Connect Murray Mallee Community Health Service provides a range of services and programs from three sites in the region:

  • Lameroo
  • Murray Bridge
  • Tailem Bend.
