About Noarlunga Hospital
Noarlunga Hospital provides a range of inpatient, ambulatory and outpatient services to communities in the south. These include:
- 24/7 Community Emergency Department
- an Emergency Extended Care Unit
- a focus on short stay, lower acuity elective surgery and procedural activity including colonoscopy and endoscopy services
- dialysis services
- inpatient Geriatric Evaluation and Management beds (GEM)
- highly specialised inpatient and outpatient Dementia support services
- inpatient mental health facilities.
The broader precinct provides a range of Women’s and Children’s services, infusion services and ambulatory services; many with a focus on chronic disease management.

Emergency Department
The Emergency Department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

More seriously ill patients are transferred to the nearest major hospital, Flinders Medical Centre at Bedford Park.
Visiting hours
All visiting hours are at the nurses discretion.
Public and private wards
8.00 am to 8.00 pm
Morier Ward
General: 9.00 am to 9.00 pm
High Dependency Unit
1.30 pm to 3.30 pm and 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm
Patient entertainment
Bedside computers have been installed for patient entertainment at Noarlunga Hospital.
The bedside entertainment services are provided by Telstra and give patients access to a number of different entertainment options on a pre-paid basis.
Car parking
Parking is available in front of the hospital and adjacent to the entrance of consulting clinics. Disability parks are also available.
A 15 minute (patient pick up) and a five minute (patient drop off) zone is available at the main entrance of the hospital. This zone is also used for emergency patient drop off/pick up.
Drop off zones are also available at the Adaire Clinic and Village. Disabled parking is available. General parking is on the public road (council owned).

Disability access
There are disability toilets in the Consulting Clinics and the Emergency Department.
All departments are accessible by wheelchair.
There are telephones for the hearing impaired at main reception and Emergency Department.
