Visiting hours for Flinders Medical Centre
The safety and wellbeing of people in our hospital during COVID-19 means that there may be restrictions for visitors. See details below.
To help protect our patients, visitors and staff from COVID-19, visitor restrictions are currently in place.
In general, at our hospitals, one visitor is allowed per patient, per day, during visiting hours specific to individual wards or services.
Please note: visitors are unable to attend our sites if they are a close contact or COVID-19 positive.
As always, exemptions to allow additional visitors are available for compassionate reasons such as end of life, paediatric, palliative care and maternity (Birthing and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)). Please speak with the treating Health Care team for more information.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our patients and community safe.
Please adhere to the following when attending for your visit:
- If you have any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste please do not enter until you are better and get tested immediately.
- Do not enter if you are a know close contact of a COVID-19 positive case or are COVID-19 positive.
- Please use the mySAGOV QR check-in and wear a face mask at all times.
- Please use the alcohol-based hand rub provided to clean your hands when you enter and leave.
The continued safety and welfare of everyone in our hospital and health services is our priority.
Thank you for your understanding as we try and keep our community healthy.
