Results and image access

SAMI offers two platforms for electronic delivery of reports and images: Zed and SAMIView.

For SA Health employees

SAMIView

If you are already an employee of SA Health, you will have access to review images and reports at your SA Health workplace through EMR linking to ESMI Vue Motion.

If you wish to access images and reports outside of the SA Health network, please follow the SAMIView link here: SAMIView online portal, and refer to the SA Health employee setup guide (PDF 2.3MB) for more information.

For external referrers (outside of SA Health)

SAMIView

SAMIView is a web based portal providing clinical staff outside of SA Health access to medical images and reports performed by SA Medical Imaging (SAMI). It is an expansion of ESMI Vue Motion utilised by SA Health clinicians.

To gain access to SAMIView, complete the External Referrer Access form (PDF 429KB) and email it to Health.SAMIReferrerSupport@sa.gov.au.

Zed

Zed Doctor is a significantly improved and evolved version of Medinexus. It is a secure web-based electronic results delivery platform, focused on providing intuitive, fast and convenient access to complete DICOM-quality SAMI image datasets and reports for external referrers.

Zed GP Messenger allows GPs to launch Zed Doctor viewer with a one-click hyperlink to view formatted radiology reports. Existing Healthlink users will not need to do anything, the link will use the new Zed Viewer.

Referrers already possessing a Medinexus account can log on to the Zed portal with their existing details here: Zed login
