COVID-19 compliance monitoring

SA Health is responsible for monitoring COVID-19 compliance under the South Australian Public Health Act 2011 and associated Directions put in place to manage the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some businesses may have Emergency Officers from SA Health enter their premises to review COVID-19 compliance.

COVID Safe Check-In

You are no longer required to do the COVID-Safe Check in at defined public activity, but you are required to Check in at:

  • Public and Private hospitals,
  • Disability care facilities, and
  • Residential Aged Care Facilities

Reporting COVID compliance issues

If you suspect a business, activity or individual has not complied with the South Australian COVID-19 Directions and would like to report this to SA Health, then please complete an online reporting form.

COVID Compliance Enforcement Framework

The COVID Compliance Enforcement Framework is used by SA Health’s COVID compliance team to guide and prioritise enforcement of COVID-19 restrictions.
