Getting vaccinated

SA Health is committed to providing all South Australians who wish to be vaccinated against COVID-19 with access to safe and effective vaccines as soon as possible.

Who is eligible?

The following people are currently eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in South Australia:

  • People 40 years and over
  • People 16 years and over living in a regional council area
  • Quarantine and airport workers
  • All health care workers
  • Residential aged care and disability care residents and staff
  • NDIS participants aged 16 and over, and carers of NDIS participants of any age
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders 16 years and over
  • Adults with an eligible underlying medical condition
  • Critical and high-risk workers including defence, police, fire, emergency services and meat processing

The vaccination commencement date for the rest of South Australia’s adult population is still to be confirmed.
