Information about the vaccines Year 7 and Year 10 students are offered and what diseases they will protect them against.
South Australia’s School Immunisation Program provides free recommended vaccines for students as part of the National Immunisation Program.
Fully trained and qualified immunisation teams (health workers) visit all high schools in South Australia to deliver the program.
Year 7 students are offered diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) (dTpa) and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations, and Year 10 students are offered meningococcal ACWY and meningococcal B vaccinations.
