The TIER Leadership Essentials Program is a 3-month accelerated development program that builds middle level nursing/midwifery leadership capacity, enabling more effective leadership and management of people and business operations within workplaces.

The TIER Leadership Essentials Program is offered as part of the SA Health Nursing and Midwifery Office (NMO) Leadership Series, sponsored by the Chief Nurse and Midwifery Offices and comprises 9 sessions.

The TIER Leadership Essentials Program has been mapped to and supports the Department of Health and Wellbeing’s Leadership and Management Capability Framework, focussing on the leadership domain.

Nominations

Nominations to the TIER Leadership Essentials Program is via the Local Health Network Executive Director of Nursing/Midwifery.

Credit agreements

Completion of the TIER Leadership Essentials Program grants credit towards the Flinders University courses listed below:

  • Master of Health Administration
  • Graduate Certificate in Health Administration
  • Graduate Diploma in Health Administration
  • Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Administration
