About the Outpatient Redesign Project
The OP Redesign approach will create sustainability for the LHN’s in the long term, with improved access to services, transparency, governance, and accountability. The OP Redesign will be undertaken in two stages, with a focus on innovation and technology to achieve.
Phase one
Phase one will work on the ways in which SA Health can improve timely access to outpatient services, as well as efficient and effective models of care.
Phase two
Phase two will focus on fundamentally rethinking and redesigning the way in which outpatient services are commissioned, to drive sustainable improvements, exploring opportunities for services to be provided to primary and community settings where feasible.
