Country Health Connect offers a wide range of in-home and community-based services to older people, people living with disability, children and carers. Our services will help you or your loved one stay well, active and independent.

The Coober Pedy Community Health Centre is part of the Coober Pedy Hospital & Health Services.  Visiting specialists and allied health staff conduct regular clinics within the centre.

Coober Pedy Community Health Centre provides support services to the frail aged and younger disabled and their carers to prevent premature entry into an aged-care facility. These services include:

  • health education
  • health promotion
  • counselling support

Community health services include:

  • diabetes coordinator to assist with diabetes education and management

  • Aboriginal liaison worker
  • health promotion.
