Drug and Alcohol Services SA (DASSA) provides a range of alcohol and other drug information services in South Australia. Get help with drug or alcohol problems.
SA Health contracts other non-government agencies to provide a range of drug and alcohol services through the Specialist Drug and Alcohol Assessment and Treatment Services program.
Services provided are:
In addition to the above, Family Drug Support provides a counselling service to assist families dealing with drug and alcohol issues.
Offers individual counselling support services for clients and/or close family and friends of clients who have substance use issues.

The MATRIX program in the Riverland is an intensive 16 week outpatient addiction recovery program facilitated by qualified psychologists and consumers with lived experience.
Clients receive information, assistance in structuring a substance-free lifestyle, and support to achieve and maintain abstinence from drugs and alcohol. The program specifically addresses the issues relevant to clients who are dependent on stimulant drugs, particularly methamphetamine and cocaine, and their families.

The Assertive Outreach Service Pilot is a new support program that aims to encourage people (with priority for those under 30 years of age) affected by alcohol and other drug related problems who have not been successfully engaged in treatment into assessment and treatment.
The service works alongside existing alcohol and other drug assessment and treatment services in Onkaparinga and Port Augusta as well as other state-wide services available to local residents. It will also work with a range of local services including hospitals, GPs, police and community services to identify people at risk and their families.
