COVID-19 vaccinations
COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective at increasing your protection against serious illness and hospitalisation from COVID-19 infection.
Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) recommends that everyone aged 5 years and older gets a COVID-19 vaccine to help protect against COVID-19. Children aged 6 months to under 5 years who are at greater risk of severe disease are also eligible for COVID-19 vaccination.
To be considered up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, you must have had all the doses recommended for your age and health needs. Boosters are particularly important to maintain your protection.
COVID-19 vaccinations are available at participating GPs and pharmacies across South Australia.
