COVID-19 Primary Care Update 11/8/2022

11 August 2022

Good afternoon,

Future Respiratory Pathway General Practice Survey

I would like to invite you to complete an important survey to assist in planning for future respiratory pathways. To help review the current model and identify possible improvements, we kindly ask all GPs, Practice Managers and GP Nurses to complete this survey, which will take approximately 5 minutes.

As you may be aware, there are currently 11 GP respiratory clinics across the state. There has not yet been commitment from the Commonwealth to extend the GP Respiratory Clinic model beyond 30 September 2022. Work has commenced between SA Health, the Primary Health Networks and GP stakeholders to review options for a sustainable respiratory assessment model.

The survey questions will be tailored to your specific role and can be completed anonymously. No questions are compulsory, though all feedback is appreciated and will support the planning of a future respiratory pathway.

There is an opportunity to provide general feedback regarding the current and future respiratory pathway. As primary health workers, you play an integral role in supporting the South Australian community, and your input would be appreciated.

I encourage all GPs, Practice Managers, and GP Nurses to complete the survey by  5.00pm, Wednesday 17 August 2022.

Please forward this to other colleagues at your practice who may be interested in completing this survey. Please also make available the below QR Code in your worker break rooms for people who might not receive the link to the survey above.
