Consultation on Early Childhood Services and Immunisation
The State Government is committed to protecting children and believes that South Australia should have the highest childhood immunisation rates possible, leading the nation.
SA Health is seeking feedback from the feedback on ways to further strengthen protection of children against vaccine preventable diseases.
The Early Childhood Services and Immunisation Discussion Paper (PDF 945KB), released on Friday 31 May 2019, proposes a range of options that would require, with rare exception, children in South Australia to be up-to-date with immunisations (or on an approved catch-up program) as a condition of enrolment and potentially ongoing attendance at early childhood services.
Consultation and feedback
Consultation on the Discussion Paper is open until 5.00 pm Friday 28 June, 2019.
You can provide feedback by:
- Visiting the YourSAy website to complete the survey or join the discussion, or
- Emailing feedback to HealthCommunicableDiseases@sa.gov.au.
