WINNER: SA Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Supply Dashboard

SA Pharmacy, Statewide Clinical Support Services, CALHN

Pharmaceutical supply is a critical component of SA Health’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. To enable real time, statewide visibility of medication holdings in SA Health hospitals, SA Pharmacy developed the Pharmaceutical Supply Dashboard. The dashboard centralises inventory information relating to current stock holdings and usage patterns, allowing SA Pharmacy to proactively redistribute pharmaceuticals between hospitals to meet demand. The dashboard is monitored via the PPE and Pharmacy Governance Group.

FINALIST: Enterprise Data and Information Branch COVID19 Emergency Response

Enterprise Data and Information has supported the COVID19 Emergency Response with timely access to data and reporting solutions to support the pandemic outbreak. This includes the development of secure access dashboards that integrate complex data from public and private hospitals, private and public COVID pathology and SA Police border crossing. The dashboards supports effective patient care for COVID positive patients and comprehensive monitoring of border compliance minimising the COVID spread.

FINALIST: COVID-19 Communications response

Corporate Communications, DHW

The Department for Health and Wellbeing Corporate Communications Branch has been successful in delivering accurate, effective and timely health advice to the South Australian public during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the public increased their positive actions to stop the spread of COVID-19. The communications response has increased public confidence in SA Health and the broader South Australian health system.
