The Clinic at Gilles Plains is on the grounds of the Gilles Plains Primary School. The two services co-located at Gilles Plains are Marringga Turtpandi, which is a service delivery site of Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health Service and Gilles Plains GP Plus Super Clinic that is focused on children and families.
Services
Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health Service – Maringga Turtpandi Site
Committed to providing a free of charge, culturally appropriate, and comprehensive primary health care service for the Aboriginal Community in the Central and Northern Local Health Network areas of Adelaide.
The vision of the Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Service is to provide a quality health care service for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and share up to date knowledge on health and social
issues.
The name Watto Purrunna is a Kaurna term meaning “the branch of life”. The service consists of Kokotina Tappangga (a Clinical Service) and Purrunna Waiingga (a Wellbeing Service).
Together they deliver:
- a medical clinic
- immunisation services
- allied health services
- well health checks
- wellbeing support
- health promotion programs for the Aboriginal community.
GP Plus Super Clinic
Free services for children up to preschool commencement age and support to their families or carers who are not eligible for a similar service elsewhere.
A variety of group programs and individual services are offered to support children with their development including:
- speech pathology
- social work
- occupational therapy
- dietetics.

Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Bus services 271 and 273 operate on North East Road. Bus stop 29 is located near the facility.
