About Adelaide Sexual Health Centre

Adelaide Sexual Health Centre provides a free, confidential service. This includes advice, testing and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

A Medicare card is not required.

Monday: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm 
Tuesday: 11.00 am to 6.30 pm 
Wednesday: 11.00 am to 6.30 pm 
Thursday: 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm 
Friday: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm

To help improve patient access and waiting times, we are now taking appointments. To make an appointment please call us on (08) 7117 2800. We will offer you the next available appointment or refer you to an alternative clinical service, such as a General Practice or SHINE SA.

2020 Public Holidays

The clinic will be closed on the following public holidays in 2020:

  • 10 April - closed all day
  • 13 April - closed all day
  • 25 April - closed all day
  • 8 June - closed all day
  • 5 October - closed all day
  • 24 December - clinic open 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
  • 25 December 2020 through 3 January 2021 - closed every day 
  • 4 January 2021 - clinic open 9.00 am to 4.30 pm

Located on the first floor of the Chest Clinic Building. It is located on the south-eastern corner of the intersection of North terrace and Frome road. The entrance is in the middle of the building.

All the information you give us, and the results of tests, are strictly confidential. We will not release information about you without your written permission.

Annual Reports

Annual sentinel surveillance reports are produced by Adelaide Sexual Health Centre. These reports can provide early indication of an outbreak.
