Maternity/obstetrics

A birthing suite is available at this facility. A shared care arrangement with General Practitioners and community midwifes assist women with care and treatment before, during and after childbirth.

Childbirth and parenting classes are conducted as well as community Midwifery service. A midwife can visit you at home to support you after the birth of your baby.

Residential aged care

Crystal Book and District Hospital offer residential aged care facilities in the hospital and at Southern Flinders Health. for older people in need of high-level care. Respite care for the aged is also available.

Community health services

The Yorke and Northern Region Community Health Services – Mid North provides a range of services from eight sites in the region:
