The Elliston Hospital is part of the Eyre and Far North Local Health Service and provides health care services to people in the area of the District Council of Elliston. We have a 21 bed hospital which includes The Pines Hostel, a purpose-built secure environment for older people and those suffering dementia.
This is a 24-hour service. When you arrive at accident and emergency, you will be seen by the duty nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury.
In a medical emergency, it is important that you do not ‘self present’ to hospital. SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the phone while an ambulance is on its way to you.
There is disabled parking onsite.
The buildings are wheelchair accessible and there are toilets for people with disability. Please ask at Reception.
General wards: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
If you have any feedback about your experience or any other aspect of our service, we would like to hear from you.
Your feedback might be a compliment, a complaint, or a suggestion. Whatever it is, your feedback is important, and we are listening.
You can share your feedback by email Health.EFNConsumerFeedback@sa.gov.au or by calling us on 0401 772 141.
