The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) Orthopaedic Unit provides inpatient and outpatient services for people with orthopaedic conditions. This includes:

Orthopaedics - Arthroplasty

The SALHN Arthroplasty Unit provides specialised orthopaedic public service for people with hip and knee osteoarthritis of any age, or anyone 50 years of age and over with hip or knee joint problems. The clinic assesses for conservative management or surgery.

The SALHN General Orthopaedic Unit provides non-arthroplasty orthopaedic care for the southern community.

  • hip - not joint replacement
  • upper limb - shoulder and elbow
  • foot and ankle
