Dietetics and Nutrition Clinics at Noarlunga Hospital

Dietetic and Nutrition outpatient services at Noarlunga Hospital are predominately internal hospital referrals received from various SALHN departments and specialist units. These clinics provide nutritional assessment and treatment for adults following inpatient admissions and also for acute and/or complex conditions.

Outpatient services are provided either as a face to face or phone consults.

Nutritional Assessment and Dietetic Gastro clinics services include:

  • nutritional support for medical conditions
  • nutritional management of swallowing disorders
  • dietetic management of enteral nutrition

Nutritional Assessment Clinic

  • provides dietetic follow up once patients have been discharged from hospital
  • manages nutritional requirements
  • assists with the use of nutritional supplements

Dietetic Gastro Clinic

  • nutritional management of swallowing disorders
  • dietetic management of gastro disorders
  • dietetic management of home enteral nutrition
