The Immunodeficiency Clinic provides public and private (Medicare bulk billed) services to adults with primary immune deficiency (PID) to monitor immunoglobulin replacement therapies.

Referrals

Patients attending this clinic are currently under the care of an immunologist  within the service and on replacement immunoglobulin therapies.

Referrals for diagnosed primary immune deficiency and/or suspected immunodeficiency provide immunology work up and include:

  • history of serious infections
  • relevant radiological investigations
  • microbiological identification of pathogens
  • blood test results (IgG,A,M, C3 +C4, CBE)
