SA Medical Imaging (SAMI) recognises that South Australians have the right to access the right service, delivered by appropriately trained and credentialled staff, in the right place, at the right time and we are committed to the principles of social justice, fairness, and equity in the delivery of services.  We value diversity and we work with staff, referrers and their patients to enable South Australians to receive high quality medical imaging services.

Our strategic plan

SA Medical Imaging Strategic Plan 2024 – 2029 (PDF 4721KB) reflects SAMI’s collaborative approach across our organisation, showcasing our commitment to innovation, quality patient care, and operational excellence.

It focuses on embracing the opportunities and challenges over the coming five years to ensure we fulfil our purpose in the state’s health system as a respectful, compassionate, and caring medical imaging service for patients, referrers, and Local Health Networks.

The strategic plan sets a clear direction for SAMI, guiding our decisions and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional care and achieving meaningful outcomes for our patients.
