Key benefits

The RMCLHN midwifery TPPP aims to support graduate midwifes to consolidate and develop skills and knowledge reflected in high quality midwifery care. The RMCLHN TPPP aligns with all aspects of the state-wide TPPP, is evidence-based, enhanced by rural midwives, and informed by the practical experience of our rural and regional workforce.

Midwifery care throughout the RMCLHN is offered through a Midwifery Model of Care – Midwifery Group Practice (MGP). This innovative service provides continuity of care to women and families within our Local Health Network – regardless of where they choose (or are required) to birth.
