The Modbury Hospital has been providing vital health care to its local community since it was established in 1973.
As part of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network the hospital provides emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services including rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care to more than 400,000 residents of Adelaide’s north and north-eastern community.
Modbury Hospital opened in 1973 and the Education Centre was built in 1979, followed by the Woodleigh House mental health unit in 1980.
