Limestone Coast Local Health Network Board

The Limestone Coast Local Health Network covers the areas including the towns and surrounds of Millicent, Naracoorte, Kingston SE, Penola, Mount Gambier, Keith and Bordertown, extending to the Victorian border.

The Limestone Coast Local Health Network governing board is responsible and accountable to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing for local decision making. The role of the Limestone Coast Local Health Network governing board includes setting strategies and priorities for health services in the region, as well as ensuring the Limestone Coast Local Health Network achieves the performance indicators in its Service Agreement.

Grant King is an experienced board chair and chief executive officer, having worked in both for-profit and not-for-profit organisations.

Andrew Birtwistle-Smith

Andrew Birtwistle-Smith is the Chief Executive Officer of the Pangula Mannamurna Aboriginal Corporation. He has experience in Principal Consultant, Strategic and Senior Regional Management positions within Aboriginal Support Services and the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI), and was instrumental in the collaboration with the LCLHN to develop and implement the Memorandum of Understanding between LCLHN and Pangula Mannamurna in November 2020.

Glenn Brown

Glenn Brown is an elected member of Wattle Range Council and an independent member of the Country Health SA LHN Risk Management and Audit Committee.

Lindy Cook

Lindy Cook initially trained as a registered nurse and worked in various positions in Adelaide and overseas. She has been an executive director and the Director of Business Development at Blue Lake Milling Pty Ltd.

John Irving

John Irving is an experienced independent company director and chair, business advisor and mediator. He has professional accounting and financial skills, commercial and legal knowledge, and business experience.

Dr Andrew Saies

Dr Andrew Saies is a self-employed orthopaedic surgeon in private practice at sportsmed SA. Andrew has previously worked as a visiting medical specialist at both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
