Conferences and training for Health in All Policies

The Health in All Policies approach was established in South Australia as the principal recommendation made by Professor Kickbusch as the 2007 Adelaide Thinker in Residence. Since this time, a number of events have been held in Adelaide, bringing together an international audience.

  • 2017 Health in All Policies and the Sustainable Development Goals
    This international event marks the ten year commitment to applying Health in All Policies in improving the health and wellbeing of the South Australian population. The Health in All Policies approach has successfully evolved to remain relevant during this time.
  • 2010 international meeting for Health in All Policies
    This meeting provided an opportunity for South Australia to showcase its Health in All Policies approach to the international community. The Adelaide Statement on Health in All Policies was developed during the meeting.
  • 2008 Health in All Policies forum
    This forum focused on South Australia’s learning experience in implementing Health in All Policies.
  • 2007 Health in All Policies forum
    The Department of Health and the Department of Premier and Cabinet worked together to deliver Professor Kickbusch’s recommendation and convened this state-based Health in All Policies conference in 2007. The conference provided an opportunity for government agencies to consider how best to incorporate HiAP as part of the ongoing policy development process.
