South Australian Health in All Policies Training Manual

Following the 2011 South Australian Health in All Policies Summer School, the Government of South Australia collaborated with WHO Headquarters and Western Pacific Regional Office to develop the South Australian Health in All Policies Training Manual (PDF 6MB).

The training manual brings together South Australia’s experience in implementing a Health in All Policies approach in the context of international shifts in policy making, governance for health, and intersectoral action. It has been designed to provide practical examples of how to translate the evidence around the social determinants of health into action and in doing so, the skills required to work collaboratively across sectors. The manual has been distributed to all WHO regions and will complement other activities undertaken by WHO around building capacity for intersectoral action.

The intended audience for the South Australian Health in All Policies Training Manual includes health professionals and policy makers, professionals and policy makers outside of the health sector, and academics and other stakeholders (e.g. non-government organisations).

Suggestions and feedback
