While national mental health standards promote recovery-orientated care, measuring recovery is not explicitly mandated. The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, in partnership with Rural and Remote Mental Health Service conducted a mixed-methodology research project to measure consumer recovery, and the results are now being used to improve quality and safe clinical practice.
