SALHN research

The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) has a strong reputation for the quality of its scientific and medical research. For further information, please view our Application Type Decision Aid (PDF 136 KB) for guidance on what type of application should be used.

The current system, Online Forms, will be turned off at the end of October 2020 as the new system goes live in early December 2020. We encourage all researchers to contact the Office for Research regarding upcoming Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and Governance applications. For more information please read Transitioning to Research GEMS (PDF 541KB).

We aim to provide an open-door approach that promotes easily accessible advice and produces a culture of collaboration. To deliver on that objective, we can now offer the following three opportunities for face-to-face/video meetings, by appointment to discuss your research:

  1. External: Our staff can visit your office to fit into your schedule
  2. Internal: You can visit our office for a meeting in our private meeting room
  3. Virtual: We can meet via MS Teams
