Welcome to the Nursing and Midwifery Enterprise Bargaining webpage.

On 1 February 2017, the Industrial Relations Commission of South Australia (now the SA Employment Tribunal) approved the Nursing/Midwifery (South Australian Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement 2016.  This Agreement will nominally expire on 1 September 2019.

Nurses and midwives within the South Australian public sector are covered by the Nursing/Midwifery (South Australian Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement 2016 which contains a range of conditions including staffing and workloads, the Nursing/Midwifery career structure, professional development, salaries and allowances, leave provisions and other work-related conditions and arrangements.

As outlined in the Chief Executive Update of 22 May 2019, the Notice of Intention to commence negotiations has been issued, with the first formal meeting to occur on 12 June 2019.
