2007 Health in All Policies forum

Following the completion of the first part of her residency in early 2007, Professor Ilona Kickbusch released an interim report calling for the SA Government to convene an across government Health in All Policies (HiAP) Conference. The Department of Health and the Department of the Premier and Cabinet worked together to deliver Professor Kickbusch’s recommendation and convened the state-based HiAP conference in November 2007. The Conference focused on increasing understanding across government of the key interactions and synergies between health, the economy, and the achievement of South Australia’s Strategic Plan (SASP) targets. The HiAP conference provided an opportunity for government agencies to consider how best to incorporate HiAP as part of the ongoing policy development process.
